Now Get Up!

Proverbs 24:16
16for though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked are brought down by calamity.

King Solomon detailed that though a man loves God and follows him, he will fall and not just once. But if he indeed still desires to seek God and follow His will then God will recover him from the fall. The problem, too many stay down after the initial fall and figure their situation is hopeless. It's only those who continue in their wickedness without regard to repentance that shall remain down. One who repents and really desires to seek God's will for their life will indeed get up. In the movie The Matrix, Neo was shot by agent Smith several times and was pronounced dead. That's just what the enemy wants you to be declared as, dead. But God! God wants to show the enemy that it is He who breathes life into you. While the agents declared Neo dead, Trinity continued to speak life into Neo's subconscious mind and eventually, Neo heard her and opened his eyes. And her words to Neo, "now get up!" Do you know the Lord is whispering in your ear each time the enemy has declared you are dead and in his possession? Guess what? The Lord is whispering in your ear and in your spirit, "Now get up!" The Lord is still declaring victory over your life even when the enemy thinks he has won. But it's when God says, "now get up" that you know, you still have a chance at life to fulfill the purpose He destined you for. How many of you have fallen and think you are hopeless? How many of you have been declared as dead and captive by the enemy? God is whispering in your ear, "now get up"! So what are you waiting for? Now get up!
