Monday, March 21st at 8:30am my first internet radio interview promoting Get Your JOY In The Morning will air on V's Artist-2-Artist on www.QLiveOne.com.

Deuteronomy 8:2-3a
2 Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. 3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you

Have you ever asked God why you had to be in the desert? Indeed there is relevant revelation. In Moses recording of Deuteronomy he was nearing the end of assignment and about to turn leadership over to Joshua. Joshua and Caleb were the only two out of the twelve spies that agreed that if God said they could take possession of the promise land then it would be well. Moses was a great man in God's eyes. For God revealed himself to Moses in a way that he had not with most prophets.

The desert is a place of preparation. It's where God strips us of our pride and HUGE ego. It's where God strips us of our stubbornness to make do without him and becoming appreciative of walking with him step by step. Why the desert? There was absolutely no way the Israelites could go into the promise land with their state of mind. The Israelites could not walk into such a blessing that God has and be ready without first being cleansed of the slave mentality they obtained while in Egypt. The Egyptians had the Israelites convinced that without them they could not survive when in fact it was God that sustained them while they were in the enemy's camp. So guess what? Neither can we be ready without first being stripped to understand where we were and it's God that has sustained us even while we've gone through. Even Jesus had to go through the desert. If you don't know if you are in a desert experience then here are a few questions to ask God?

1. Am I still in the enemy's camp? 2. Am I about to enter the desert? 3. If I am in the desert, what do I need to learn so I can come out?

In the name of Jesus, eyes shall be opened this day!!
